Dagner 2nd at NCS; advances to Monday’s TOC

Sonoma Valley High senior Brooke Dagner had the second lowest score of all the North Coast Section qualifiers Monday, firing a sizzling round of 82 for a second-place finish and an automatic berth into next Monday’s (Nov. 2) Tournament of Champions in Arcata.
Monday’s TOC will take place at the Baywood Golf Country Club, with a shotgun start scheduled for 9:00 am.
Dagner finished behind only Novato’s Ali Hoffman, who fished with a medalist round of 80 at Berkeley’s Tilden Park Golf Course. Dagner recently concluded her match play career as a member of the Lady Dragons golf team, and was consistently a medalist in league play.
