Walk with the Dogs
Approximately 50 dogs and their human companions spent the morning strolling the bike path during Sonoma Valley Dog Owners and Guardians’ (SVDOG) “Walk with the Dogs” event. Organizers want to raise awareness of and money to prevent canine cancer, which kills one in four dogs over the age of three. Proceeds from the walk will be donated to the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine’s Cancer Fund and the Sonoma Valley Pet Memorial Project. Pictured here are Oliver and Lola, two dogs up for adoption at Pets Lifeline, who enjoyed their morning walk and received lots of admiring attention to boot.
