This week’s pick; Tiger time; Little League and t-ball sign-ups

Ray Sullivan Jr.| Sonoma Valley Sun

This week’s picks: College basketball gets introduce to our prognosticating four this week, with a top-ten match-up between North Carolina and the Texas longhorns. In the NFL a not-so stellar meeting between the Browns and Chiefs, the Bengals at the Chargers and Green bay at Pittsburgh are among the choices. Jim Wandzilak (36-22) leads the way and he likes the Chiefs, Chargers, Packers and Texas. Bart Kemp (34-24) is going with Cleveland, San Diego, Green Bay and UNC. Ray Sullivan (34-24) likes the Browns, Chargers, Packers and Texas. Mike Mulas (33-25) has Kansa City, San Diego, Green bay and UNC.
Tiger time: Tiger Woods continues to be a constant topic of conversation in the sports world. In no way am I qualified to comment on Woods’ personal life.  However, it struck me as ironic that some of the best publicity a corporation could get came when one of Tiger’s sponsors dumped him.  I watch an inordinate amount of sport on television, including golf.  In all of that viewing time, I had never heard of Accenture, the first major sponsor to dump Tiger. Now I know more than I want to about the global consulting firm.
